Well known for his bright, exuberant and often large-scale paintings and prints, Terry Frost also delighted in producing many works on paper in various media, including watercolour, gouache, pen and ink, oil, acrylic and canvas collage, etc. The works on paper tend to be even more free and experimental than the larger works, and they
also reveal Frost's accomplished draughtmanship, an element of the artist's work sometimes overlooked. This is the first exhibition dedicated to Frost's works on paper for five years. Several of the works exhibited are being shown for the first time, and date from 1948 to 2003.
